Even when you do this enough times to where the background is a solid color template, the green glow around me remains and there's no way to get rid of it. I tried the saturation, and I have the full latest version of AVS. I bought this program because it was the only one that would work on my laptop without crashing. I am so disappointed the chroma key doesn't work. It works perfect in something that crashes on my computer like Cyberlink Powerdirector.

What a brilliant fix! I never would have thought that there was a way around this problem. One thing worth mentioning is that each time the chroma keying color is selected, remember to uncheck the 'smooth' box. Thanks again.

That is the purpose of the templates. There are many different
templates and I am sure one of them is the right one for your project.
If you want to further customize the menu you might need a specialized
tool and then integrate the customized menu back into AVS.

other topic - Is there any way to edit the Menu ? and by that I mean the Font. and also, When creating the Menu do we HAVE to have "Chapters", I'm putting a video together on AVS, I want it to considt of 3 videos, one from camera, slideshow1 and slideshow two - both of which I'll create in another program and save as aVI's - but all I want on the Menu is "play video", "play photo1" play photo2" or similar words - I don't want "chapters" - and have to go to a sub-menu of any kind - Just the 3 options on the Menu . can it be done ? ( I'v got the most recent version of the prog - I find it Great - except for this Menu feature, doesn't appear ot be really customisable.

Try decreasing the sensitivity of the chroma effect. Also, decreasing
the saturation of the video might help mitigate the glow. AVS is
updated regularly, so be sure to have the latest version.

I have followed your steps. Repeated 8 times before I got anything even close. There is still a green glow around me, and I could never get rid of all the green. This is what it came out as: (First green screen effect at 01:56) http://phorz.me/vlog/2010/09/2... Any suggestions?
